Season Finale(:

Well this is my last blog post. I have not been watching TV a lot. You see at my school, I had a friend past away. He got in a car wreck. His name was Jd Matheny. Anyway the little TV I have been watching has been good. I’ve watched some football games. Go Bears!! I have gotten caught up on my criminal minds and my other shows. In fact I am watching reruns of criminal minds as I am typing this! I am actually switching back and forth to Ghost Adventure. It is a show about this group of 3 guys that go around and get locked into haunted houses. It’s really good. It feels completely real, and that makes it pretty fun for me! I love being scared though! I really have no idea what to write though, I feel like I should have some witty stuff to say about different shows but I do not. It’s pretty saddening. The best show I have watched this week has to Shrek the Halls. Haha it was great! Shrek was all confused about Christmas, so he got a book to help. Then of course Donkey came and ruined what Shrek had done. Shrek got pretty mad so he kicked everyone out. Fiona got all mad at him and left. But it is a Disney show so they got back together and had their Christmas together. I think shows like that are so funny. I mean life just does not work that way. So they are setting these kids up for failure. At age 4: Yeah honey, there is a prince charming! At age 10: Oh honey all boys are jerks! At age 16: Honey boys are pigs, stay away! Haha it is entertaining! As they get older they realize oh wait Disney lied! Anyway, TV likes to do that; lie. But that is alright as long as it can keep me entertained that is all I care about! I got my mom addicted to Invader Zim. We sit there and laugh till we cry! Gir, the little robot makes us laugh so hard. He is so adorable, and innocent! Plus his little voice just adds to the cuteness! I am everywhere on this blog! I am just switching from topic to topic but hey that is alright! I just watched Eclipse today! I know everyone went and saw it at the movies but I could not! So my parents got it for me. I thought it was really good. I think with this one they stuck closer to the book. I hate when they stray from the books. I mean, it was a great book that’s why they were made into movies. So you should not mess with a good thing! I am just saying! Well sadly this blog post is coming to an end and I wont post anymore! I know my commentary on shows will be missed!(; So I am sorry my millions of fans! I hope my views on shows will help you choose the right ones. So you wont be bored when watching TV!

Tv is a good thing; sometimes(;

so i am a couple blogs behind. its not that i did not want to write the blog. i did, well sorda. i have been increasingly busy over these past weeks! I have had a crap ton of basketball and i had my parenting baby one weekend. I was soo stressed. I know this may seem hard to believe but i have not been watching tv that much. i have not had time. this has been my schedule; school, basketball, home/some homework, eat, shower, sleep, and repeat! I have missed episodes of shows i love. i missed house, supernatural and i even missed criminal minds! ahh, i had to catch up on all of them before i could write this blog. it was killing me inside not knowing what had happened! It is pretty sad that i am addicted to this stuff, but i am! Their lives are just soo much more interesting that mine, and things seem to work out better for them! I know i could get the same experience from a book but i think i will take the short cut and stick with tv.
Today my niece was talking about Spongebob. She kept telling me that he was her best friend and that they played together all the time. I just could not see him because it was against the rules for toonies(that is what she calls them) to be seen outside of the tv. I just smiled and told Spongebob and her to have fun. i laughed pretty hard after i left the room. I think that it is really cute though, she used to be really scared to go into her room, she said there were ghost. Now she just says Spongebob will save her. I am just happy i do not have to sit in her room with her anymore while she plays. It is amazing how much children and all people for that matter depend on tv. It is what entertains them, it gives them something to come home to. I know that when i am sitting at school i can not wait to get home and watch my shows.
I was looking through facebook and i saw that Pretty little liars is coming back on January 3rd, it is a really great show. It has kept me wondering since it ended last June. I have been waiting forever for it to come back on. I want to know what is happening and why. See I am like addicted! That is alright though, i guess basketball keeps me sane though. It keeps me out of the house and away from the tv for a while!
I mean tv has its good qualities and then there are the things that make people want to shelter their children from it. There are really funny shows and then there are really gross and nasty shows. It just depends on what you enjoy. I know if i am having a really bad day someone on tv is bound to be having an even worse day. Tv has its ups and downs but its our culture.(:

EWW.

Have you ever watched 1,000 Ways to Die?! That show is gross but strangely entertaining! You are like eww, that is so gross! But then you are like oh know I can not look away! You are thinking wow how stupid can some people be?! To be honest you start to hurt all over from watching it. Every part of your body tenses and you think wow that has to be extremely painful!
I was just watching an episode today. A bigger guy wanted to get liposuction, but he could not afford it; like most people. He called a friend(just about as stupid as he was) and asked if he would help him with something. The friend told him he would do whatever he needed. So the bigger guy took so pain meds and told the friend to cut him and stick the vacuum in him and suck the fat out. It worked at first until it sucked out all of his guts. It looked terribly painful and I had to keep looking away.
At the beginning of the show they say they change the name of the victims, and I know why so people in their families do not get made fun of. I swear these people have no brain cells.
On the same episode as the big guy. There was a really mean guy that was working over in like South America or something. He was swimming in a pond or something like that, when he decided he would pee in the water. All of a sudden you see him screaming and jumping around like something has a hold of his junk. No there is this tiny fish that is attracted to urine so it swam right up there and attached it self to the inside. He pulled it out and started to bleed everywhere. Of course the blood attracted a school of piranhas, so they ate him alive. Ahh I can not even think about it. I was like “oh my gosh mom, mom come in here right now!” She walks in when they show you what is happening and she yelled at me for making her watch it! To be honest though, I can not get enough of this show. There is just something about it.
I am not sure where these people get the ideas that they do. Sometimes I want to look away but then I say no Jess you have to see what happened. It is just gross sometimes, but it is like a train wreck you just can not look away. Then I think, wow how can some of these people let the people do these things! I’m telling you some the things that happen are just unbelievable. One guy got his organs ripped out from the back! It makes my whole body hurt!
If someone asked “should I watch 1,000 ways to die?” I would say “yes, you should. It is a great show, unless you have a weak stomach.” I laugh at some of them and then I feel really bad for some of the people.

what were you people thinking?!

wow really?! storm chasers?! I mean come on! I come home from tennis, and the last thing I want to do it watch something completely stupid! I like storms as much as the next guy but this show is just stupid. A bunch of guys running around screaming “wow dude look!” I know guys in my grade that have more in depth conversations than that!
My dad was like come on jess, you’ll like it. He was completely wrong! I told him uh, no dad I will not like it. I actually like shows with a plot. I’m sure some people think I’m just complaining and maybe I am, but if you haven’t watched it then you have no idea what I’m going through watching this! I gave it a chance, I gave it like 10 minutes to get good, it just did not.
I do not understand how people watch this show. I understand you like storms, but this show has no plot and these people keep talking about drama they are having between each other. WE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LIVES, WE KIND OF WANT TO SEE YOU GET HURT BY A TORNADO!(at least, I do!)
I like some movies or shows about storms. For example, I like Twister. I thought it was a good show. It had a plot and everything. I just think that some things should be left alone. There are some things you just can not make a good show out of. Would you like to know the good part of this whole show? It is when they show the tornado and the guys go towards it.(I am thinking go get em’ tornado.) I know I am a mean person, but hey that show kind of deserved it.
I think so people would agree with me that storm chasers just is not a good show to watch. And to add on it, I missed criminal minds. This show got on my bad side when it made me miss criminal minds. Oh and I could not watch a recording I have of Jersey shore because my mom said it was time to go to bed after storm chasers was over! So guess who went to bed angry that night? Me!
Another show my parents thought I would like is The Event. It is about as annoying as storm chasers. They switch back and forth between times and dates and months. I get really confused when it comes on because you are not sure where that show is going to start. I kind of want to hit the people that thought up the idea of The Event and Storm chasers. What were you thinking? Did you think they would be good shows to watch? I am going to tell you, that you were wrong!
I am almost positive that I could make a better show. I understand what people want. They want a plot and they want a show that does not skip from different days and months. It is extremely confusing, I do not want to sit down after school just to get more confused. I already had to sit through 8 hours of being confused by something! Just give me something good and interesting.

I love watching TV and I think its really fun and it gives you the chance to go on adventure with the people in the show. It gives you an escape from real life and gives you the chance to experience through eyes of someone else. It also helps you with some of those problems your having in real life. But lets face it, life is not life TV. Nothing works out like you thought it would and it does not always have a happy ending.
So when I turned on the TV this morning and saw that nickelodeon was going to turn off for 3 hours tomorrow my jaw dropped. Apparently they want kids to get out and play! I sat there in a panic wondering how I was going to watch Sponge bob and Penguins of Madagascar. Then they were like oh then we’ll be back on later so you can watch an award show for a couple hours! I mean come on! What is the deal?
I completely understand that kids need to get out and play, but turning off Nick for 3 hours?! That is just overkill. Why not just have a announcement saying children of all ages we would like for you to take a step outside and play! I am sure if the children are little enough they will listen and there you go you got some kids out playing. While us smart older kids stay in the air conditioning, watching TV.
I am not sure that this television station realizes what they are doing. If they turn off for 3 hours chances are when they do come back on, ill forget about them. I will be like oh what was I supposed to do in 3 hours, oh well not important I guess. It is ridiculous!
I mean A&E would never turn off ever. Sci-Fi would not even consider doing that. Would you like to know why they would never do that? Because apparently their people are smarter than the people working at Nickelodeon. I am just so angry at them for turning of for 3 hours. I think that I am most made about not being able to watch Spongebob in the mornings like I usually do. It is really sad.
So when I wake up tomorrow and go to turn on my TV I am going to be sad and disappointed. I will lay there and think wow Nickelodeon you are about stupid. What am I supposed to do now? Sit here? Wow thanks a lot. Turning off the TV made me want to go outside, NOT. I am not sure if you realize this but it is hot outside. Who wants to be out there? You obviously need to rethink your strategy, because frankly it is not working. Sorry to tell you.
Well Nick if this was your shot at making the world a better place you epically failed. I do not want to go outside, and your turning off your station did not change that at all. I will simply lay in bed and change the channel to a station that will give me what I need when I need it.

Haven.

Haven is based on the novel "The Colorado Kid," from author Stephen King. In Maine, Haven is a town where people with supernatural abilities have migrated for generations because it mutes their powers, allowing them to lead normal lives. At least, until recently in Syfy's "Haven" TV show.
Audrey Parker is a the shrewd and confident FBI agent with a lost past who arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine to solve the murder of a local ex-con. She gets so much more from Haven than she thought she would. She was not going to stay in Haven, but the little town changed her mind. She finds someone in a newspaper that looks just like her. So she begins to wonder if it is her mother. Everyone claims to know nothing, but she can tell they all know something.
When she first gets to Haven she meets Nathan Wournos.
Nathan is the wry local cop who soon becomes Audrey's partner. Bristling under the thumb of his father, the Chief of Police, Nathan has a quiet, controlled demeanor that often clashes with Audrey's feisty one. They compliment each other very well. As events in the town begin to unfold at a surprising pace, Nathan's usual controlled sense of calm is put to the test. At the beginning you find out Nathan cant feel anything, but he can feels Audrey’s touch.
Duke Crocker is a charming yet mysterious jack-of-all-trades. Though Duke outwardly appears to be a free spirit who lives an unobtrusive life on his boat, it becomes apparent that his mellow demeanor may conceal a much darker agenda. Nathan and Duke do not like each other and they never have. Duke seems to take a liking to Audrey though. He even helps here though he claims he does not like cops.
Nathan and Audrey are a really good team and they seem to have the “troubles” under control for now. Nathan always seems to swing in a save Audrey from something or someone. The things that happen in Haven are just plain crazy, but its an incredible show. Its just the right mix of weirdness, romance, and suspense.
Audrey is really funny but awkward around people and when she first met Nathan I knew they were perfect for each other because she slammed his hand in his car door. Nathan could not feel it, but I just knew it then. I love that Audrey is the only person Nathan can feel. It makes the story super good, and it really adds to the plot of the story. I think that this TV show is really really good. I like all the problems with supernatural they have. I like that most of the things that happen in this show could never happen in real life. Because of this show I want to visit Haven, Maine to see if stuff like this really happens. Its on Friday nights, watch it! You will not be disappointed I promise you, Im telling the truth.(:

Criminal Minds! :D

A show I really enjoy is criminal minds, I think it is a great show. You get just enough excitement and It makes you wonder how they do all the things they do. I think this show has something everyone can enjoy.


The main characters are Aaron Hotchner, David Rossi, Derek Morgan, Spencer Reid, Emily Prentiss, Jennifer "JJ" Jareau, and Penelope Garcia.

Penelope is the computer wiz, if they need to know something about someone she can find it. She is really funny, and she has a big heart. Her and Derek have this really cute and funny relationship. Penelope is one of my favorite characters.

“JJ” is the one that gets all the cases together, she is a big part of team and I think she is the mother figure. She gets pregnant and has to leave for a while but she comes back and trust me the baby is adorable. “JJ” is one of those people that you think is so strong but they have that really soft and caring side to them.

Emily is one of the BAU agents. She is new to the team and they doubt her ability to do this job at first, but I think she proves herself to everyone. Her mom is in politics, so that lead some people to believe that her mom got her the job. That wasn’t the case at all. I think she contributed a lot to the team.

Spencer is super smart. This guy knows every statistic known to man. He understands a lot of things, but there are normal things that he just breaks down and has to analyze. I think you can tell that he super caring and he hates the thought of having to hurt anyone, but is completely capable. He is the smart one of the group.

Derek is a confident and assertive person. He is a very good agent. His relationship with Garcia is very friendly and flirty but it would never go past that. He never dates anyone at work, his motto is “never date a woman with a gun.” I think he is funny and sweet he really cares about everyone is his team and he would do anything for any of them.

David is a "founding father" of the BAU. He was in early retirement until his voluntary return to the BAU in 2007. He had retired to write books and go on lecture tours, but came back to settle some unfinished business which, no one knew until later.

Aaron used to be a prosecutor, and was assigned to the FBI Field Office in Seattle. After stepping down for a period of time, he returned to lead the unit. He has a son named Jack with his former wife Haley. Haley was murdered by the psychopath George Foyet. Hotch is the calm one, and he tries to keep his cool about everything, but sometimes you see him slip. You can tell he cares about his team.

I think this show is great, I watch it every night. I love seeing the team work together to help people and I love to watch them profile people. It just a great show. When I watch, I feel like I’m there helping them profile. I would recommend this show to anyone and everyone!(:

The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

This week on The Secret Life of the American Teenager a lot of good and bad things happened. Personally I was shocked by the things that happened. If you haven’t watched it before you’re missing out. But ill be nice and tell you some of the characters and the what’s happened so far.

Amy was the teenager that got pregnant at the beginning of last season. Rickey got her pregnant at band camp. When she got back from band camp Amy went on a date with Ben and got sick. That’s when she figured out she was pregnant. Amy goes to New York for a music program. In the later episodes Amy breaks up with Ben because he got another girl pregnant. This leads to her and Rickey exploring the relationship they thought would never exist.

Rickey is the father of Amy’s baby, the babies name is John. Rickey has always been the trouble maker. He constantly hooks up with Adrian and many other girls. He never wants to settle down, but Adrian starts to make him fall in love. This all changes when Adrian gets pregnant. Ricky starts to realize that Amy could be the one to change him and he wants to with Amy.

Ben is the father of Adrian’s baby, they were trying to get back at Amy and Ricky. It didn’t work out in the end, because Adrian got pregnant. Ben is still in love with Amy though, he went to New York to see her and tell her about Adrian. Amy was angry and told Ben she’ll talk to him when she wants. Ben decides that he will propose to Adrian, to prove he cares.

Adrian is the new pregnant teen. She has always been promiscuous. She contemplated abortion, but Ricky’s mother changed her mind. She keeps the baby, and Ben decides that was what he wanted too. Ben gives her a ring and, she starts to think that her and Ben could be more than friends.

This week Amy came home from New York because she wanted to see Ricky and John. When she got home she had a talk with Ricky about what he had been doing while she was in New York. He told her that he hadn’t done anything, and she doesn’t really believe him. In the end Ricky tells Amy he’ll go sleep in bed with her, but the conversation wasn’t over for Amy. She just keeps bringing in up, which makes Ricky mad so he goes lay on the couch.

At the end of the show you see that Ricky stayed at Amy’s and Ben stayed at Adrian’s. Even though Ben told his dad he was just going to stay home. I think that this shows that Ben really does care about Adrian. He just can’t let go of Amy. But Adrian can’t let go of Ricky. In this episode you find out that some people just cant let go of the people they used to be with. For example Jack admits that he still cares about Grace, at the beginning of last season they had sex but broke up.

I think that this show connects with all types of audiences and it shows what real teens go through. I think that adults and teens can all learn from this show. I love it and I enjoy watching it. Its on every Monday, so go watch it!(:

Have you checked the children?!

Have you seen the latest kids' shows? I find them extremely amusing! They say some funny stuff. My favorites are Spongebob, Invader ZIM, and Fanboy and Chum Chum. Then there are some children's shows I just can't stand.  Dora the explorer? Seriously, what is her deal? Why is she so annoying? I just want to fill up her backpack with rocks and throw her in the river!  Knowing my luck though Swiper the fox would steal all the rocks and she would make it across anyway. Or she would yell across the river in spanish for one of her little animal friends! Why dont they eat her or something? I'll tell you why, Dora brain washed them with her "I'm the map" song. I digress though so back to the good shows!

Have you ever watched Invader ZIM? Wow! It is great. Gir is by far the best character. He is a little robot, but his master Zim dresses him as a dog. Zim is an alien. Zim has to pretend he loves Earth so he can find some way to take it over. It never really works out though. Zim has an arch enemy, Dib. They are constantly fighting. Dib is trying to prove to the world that Zim is an alien. All he manages to do is make himself look completely crazy. Gir has a thing for tacos and he loves piggys, this just adds to his cuteness. You must watch this, I promise it'll keep you laughing.

Another show I recommend is Spongebob. I'm sure everyone knows about this show. It's everywhere. Spongebob is a goofy little sponge with a big heart. He tries to do the right thing, but sometimes that ticks off Squidward the grouchy squid. Squidward is Spongebob's neighbor. He pretends that he hates Spongebob,but i think everyone knows that Squidward secretly loves the little guy. Spongebob has a best friend, his name is Patrick. He is a starfish, and not the brightest star in the sea. Spongebob works at the Krusty Krab, and his job is his life. Spongebob has a pet snail named Gary. Gary is a smart little snail. I think he might be smarter than Spongebob. Join Spongebob in his pineapple under the sea.

Finally, I suggest you watch Fanboy and Chum Chum. It's about these to boys who want to be super  heros. In their minds, they are super heros. They love the frosty freezy freeze, their favorite drink.. Chum Chum is my favorite. He is cute and little, they go on crazy adventures together. They are the best of friends and no matter what they stick together. In the show there is a bully and he likes to bop Fanboy and Chum Chum. There is a boy named Carl. Fanboy and Chum Chum drive him crazy. They say he is their best friend, but he doesn't even like them. Carl is a wizard, and Fanboy and Chum Chum try to be like him. This just makes Carl even more mad. This cartoon is pretty funny, and I think it could make anyone laugh.
